Bodygraph
The Bodygraph page computes your Human Design chart from your birth data and correlates it with your mood: your Type, Strategy, Authority, and Profile, the nine centers, and the daily planetary transits moving across your chart.
Requires: signed in, Human Design enabled, birth date and place (birth time is optional but improves accuracy).
To enable: go to Account → Human Design, toggle it on, and fill in your birth date, time (optional), and birthplace.
How it's calculated
Your chart merges two moments. The Personality chart uses your exact birth time; the Design chart uses the moment ~88 days earlier when the Sun sat 88° of arc behind its birth position. Each of thirteen bodies (Sun, Earth, the Nodes, Moon, and the planets) in each chart activates one of the 64 I-Ching gates. Activated gates that pair up form channels, and channels light up the nine centers — which in turn determine your Type, Authority, and Profile. It runs entirely on-device using the same ephemeris as the Cosmos page; nothing is sent anywhere.

The Bodygraph
A schematic of the nine centers, each in its own flat color:
- Defined centers are filled solid — consistent, reliable energy you can count on.
- Open centers are outlined and faintly tinted — variable energy that takes color from the people and places around you.
- Defined channels are drawn as solid connectors between centers; undefined ones stay faint.
- A center outlined with a dashed border is getting a temporary charge from today's transits (see below).
Tap any center to open an explanation. It leads with your own state — "Your center is Defined" or "Open" — and its lived effect, then shows the opposite state for contrast.
Your authority
A dedicated card names your inner authority and describes how to use it — for example, an emotional authority waits out its wave for clarity, while a sacral authority trusts the in-the-moment gut response.
Today's transit
Where the planets sit today, read through your chart:
- The gate and center the Sun is currently transiting
- Whether that's a defined or open center for you
- Any channels the sky completes with your own gates today — an electromagnetic connection that temporarily charges a center (shown dashed on the graphic)
- A short prose reading combining today's transit with your recent mood patterns
Once you've logged enough days, the reading includes your own averages — for example, how your mood has run on days the sky bridges into your chart versus quieter days.
Mood by transiting center
A bar for each center the Sun has transited while you had entries, showing your average mood there. The Sun crosses all nine centers over roughly a year, so this fills in slowly — read small samples loosely. It's correlation you can notice, never prediction.
